this article is divided into three sections with different points that interweave themselves with each other. note the dividers dividing the separate subcomponents of the broader concept, the concept which is this article's namesake:
Order Vs. Chaos
look at the image above. familiar, isn't it? if you remember it then you know where this article starts, if not, read Labels; Good & Evil, first.
this article begins with the topic discussed there
Labels, and society's abuses enabled by them
fickle things aren't they? society and labels. but who uses the most labels? those who claim to lead society, the leaders, the elected officials, the agencies and courts? or those who are external to society itself, the outcasts, the homeless people, the vagabonds and wanderers?
the answer is both.
see, notice that the people I have just listed, while those words are adjectives, they are also labels. many of my articles use labels. "male", "female", "genders", "creator", "labels". labels are a tool for descriptions, and in many cases vilification. I myself have used them for vilification, but the ones I use to vilify aren't ones such as "gender" or "transgender" or "race". no. the ones I have used to vilify are "willfully uneducated", "racist", "transphobic". the labels I use for vilification are ones that are designed to have meaning, to describe chosen faults within a person and/or group of people that is a fault I would find in someone regardless of immutable traits.
the reason I begin here is twofold: to acknowledge the temptation of using abusive labels, while pointing out my practices. this brings us to our next label
Terrorist.
startled, aren't you? imagining ISIS, suicide bombers, maybe 9/11? I don't mean them. those are Religious Extremists, and their actions. they have taken the context of their holy books to extreme ends, and as such have harmed innocents. the same thing happens every day. every murder thrown out of court with a "gay panic" defense, every time some woman in the middle east is told they can't go to school, every LGBTQIA+ child sent to a "pray the gay away" camp. these aren't acts of terrorism. these are acts of religious extremism. the stifling of education, of freedom of expression, and the extinguishing of an innocent life in the name of words passed down from a long dead, or long gone god and/or pantheon.
you may be arguing "no, those are different things, some of those are terrorism, some are religious right" but here's the thing, the definition of terrorism is this: "the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims." laws change, and none of these were motivated by politics, they were motivated by religion. in fact we should welcome the message that was conveyed through the religious extremism that took place on 9/11, as the message is protected under the American 1st amendment. sure the act was unlawful, and harmed innocents, and that's unlawful, and unforgivable, but the message they attempted to send? that was protected speech. for saying that you may be screaming at me from your side of the screen calling for my expatriation, but my words are protected under the same amendment that allows you to call for that. before you click away, consider this: why are you so mad about 9/11? the harming of innocents? the harming of people who have done nothing wrong? the misuse of religious texts as an excuse to abuse labels that are all too often forced upon others?
Good.
you're not mad that they were labeled terrorists, you're mad about their actions, actions that are abuses of words they believe they are permitted to abuse. direct that anger at everyone who misuses their religious texts as an excuse to harm their kids, family members, or the friend they find out is gay. use that anger to call for funding schools in middle eastern countries. use that anger to call out the preacher that touches kids in the congregation. use that anger to call out the rowdy racist you run into at a bar. use that anger to call out the next person you run into who uses a slur. use that anger to call out all abuses of labels. sure you may be mad at me for using such a harsh example but you knew the kinds of content you were signing up for when you chose to click one of my articles. there is a difference between freedom of religion and forcing it upon others, the former is protected and a right, the latter should be illegal and depending on how it's done, is already illegal. the people some may claim are terrorists are, in fact, religious extremists, and as such are people who forced their religion on others, or people who used their religion to force labels and actions on others, this is a classic slippery slope argument, and one that needs to be quelled if society is not to be dismantled.
-----
the abuse of labels is the exact systemic issue, and power structure that many of my articles target, decry, attack, and counter.
-----
now that my initial point has been made, and your emotions have been sufficiently dragged to the surface, consider this: the maga regime in America is currently targeting trans women for simply expressing themselves, it is targeting people from other countries who have come here legally, through all proper channels, and earned their citizenship, who contribute to society. why? in the name of order, in the name of creating a hegemony. trump has even declared that he'd like to get rid of natural born Americans.
but how will he do this? it's simple.
Abuse of labels, branding the dissenters terrorists. forcing beliefs on those who disagree, and branding them heretics and criminals.
the abuse of labels is a systemic, societal issue that has infected even the highest positions of government in many nations. the only difference in America is that there's an amendment protecting this, the first in fact. dissent is demand for change. this country has begun dissenting, expressing its demands for change. the only question is if the government will listen to the systemic abuses of labels, or the common person, or will it take civil war, the true shattering of order into the shards of chaos to make them listen.
only you can decide if you will pick up arms under your second amendment right, and shoot the glass into nothing but chaos.
people use labels all the time, and so, be mindful when labeling trump a president, as he wishes to be called "king", something those who wrote the amendment that grants the people the right to defend from their oppressors would deem "dictator", or "oppressor". he has built and empowered his followers with the assembly of the maga regime, and used that power to label people falsely, and force his labels on them.
as you can tell, this is my first explicitly political article in which I call for the removal of a regime's leader from office. the reason I call for this is because my system lives in this country, but I reject the regime, and invite it to prove me correct: brand me a terrorist, call me an NVE, or Nihilistic Violent Extremist, which is what the FBI says that stands for, I say it stands for Nothing Vindicated Ends, and you have vindicated American society, you have vindicated those who call for an end to this regime, whether that be through peace or civil war. NVE will be a label of pride amongst protestors, and everyone involved in labeling nonviolent protestors as such will be arrested for government overreach when the regime falls. if you are reading this, and are an American, purchase a gun, train with it, prepare yourself for when the regime lights the spark in a new civil war. learn hand to hand combat and other forms of self defense, and when the regime's secret police of unmarked ICE agents come in and do not follow protocol of showing a warrant and stating what agency they are from, as well as their name and badge number, they can be resisted and stopped legally as they are no longer "reasonably identifiable", and your legal defense can rely on them likely being criminals that are impersonating officers and attempting to commit crimes as such, and that you acted in self defense. check your local laws, and resist in every single way that is legal.
-----
it's not terrorism if you follow the law, and should a government change the laws so nonviolent dissent and resistance becomes illegal, that will be the spark that lights the fires of civil war.
-----
take careful note of my labels and words here. I'm not a terrorist, and I'm certainly not a religious extremist. I see the world in 4 components of society, 4 classifications.
firstly, I see the prey, the people who are vulnerable, the people who simply want to live, typically harming no one, hardly dealing with death. perhaps they are willing to defend themselves, most are.
next, I see the stronger members the prey deem protectors, the ones that protect the prey, the vulnerable. gun owners who have taken the necessary trainings to handle talking those down from suicide, how to handle hostage situations, and how to defend themselves and others belong to this class. cops are supposed to belong to this class, but unfortunately almost never do. members of the armed forces typically belong to this class, an important specificity being "typically" and specifically being protectors. they aren't uncontrollable, they're just tuned into a different wavelength, and tuning back to needing to protect less often takes time, therapy, and practice, but they are still protectors, and if trouble starts, they will find their muscle memory, and old tuning settings ready for them to finish it.
thirdly I see the predators. people who hunt and harm and kill as necessary. these may be sociopaths who found a place in the military, or perhaps federal agencies like the CIA. maybe lone hitmen or assassins who want to be left alone. these are the people that may follow the same codes as protectors, but don't wish for the responsibility, or perhaps can't handle it. their reasons are their own. these are like the wolves and lions in the wild, they protect their pack, however small, and any prey outside it is fair game.
the fourth category I see are monsters. these are people such as rapists, pedophiles, people who have desires, just like any creature, some violent like any predator, but have no control and instead "kill for sport". as such they can't fit into society, as something is broken in them. I'm a sociopath, I'm stable and able to handle society. it's difficult, which is why I'd classify myself as predator, not a protector, but I have that control, and that is the deciding line between predator and monster, self control. as such it accounts for the many people with intrusive thoughts of doing these things or perhaps how they'd react to these things, but they are just that, intrusive thoughts. maybe how these people would react, such as defending the victim, violently even, are what they think makes them evil. wrong again. planning how to react to a situation is just that, planning. if these thoughts are a desire, then that might put them into the predator class, but still, the monster class only includes those which kill for sport, not those with desires that are controlled.
these categories have served me well in how I view society, and are something I've developed in the years since my initial articles. as such, what I am is a cruel hand pointing at those that would harm innocents, a sociopath that does not back down from the gun that is pointed at me, the predator that will hunt down those who wish to harm my pack, my system, as well as the people who care for our system. the way my mind works enables my judgements of others using carefully crafted words, sharpened to dagger tips, weaponised against those who would wish to harm my system, a warning against making such a mistake, and an act of dissent of them being used against any other innocents, such as those that care for my system, akin to the rattlesnake's rattle. I encourage you to use the above 4 classes, and their labels carefully, these labels, as with any, leave room for grey areas, and you have to decide what your judgements are, but note this: all these labels I have used, they are based upon actions, choices, things that can be changed, and not immutable traits. these 4 classes are common components of every society, every food web, every ecosystem of any sufficiently advanced species.
-----
these labels account for order, and they account for chaos. you must decide whether or not to use them, and which of the 4 classes you belong to, as well as whether you enforce order, or encourage chaos.
-----
now that I have offered the extremes, it's time for the scales, the balance of it all, but 3 way balance is hard to do, it's difficult and requires an extent of wit that most cannot handle
that is the beauty, and challenge of this article for the reader.
the point is that there is balance to chaos and order, and too much of one beckons the other. in post apocalyptic movies you see factions form, and know the same would happen if an apocalypse truly did come, why is that? an apocalypse is pure chaos, that beckons order. look at every dictatorship that was overbearing in history, it's been destroyed and dismantled, or poisoned from the inside. why is that? it's an overpowering amount of order, it beckons chaos.
the first two sections cover three key components of this balance
Labels and their abuses.
Government overreach and the imbalance of such an act.
The chaos of dissent and resistance spiraling.
for balance to be maintained, these three concepts must go hand in hand. labels must be effectively and properly and correctly used, not falsely or as an abuse. Governments need to be checked, have their power held in the control of the people. People's dissent and resistance must come with self control, or those who would command such power would merely abuse it, and likely labels as well.
the third section offers labels to be used when balance has been disrupted, as labels are a part of language, and language is the first tool to be weaponised, it's the first gun to be fired, it is the first weapon drawn in conflict. failing to heed the warning shot that language represents will merely spell doom for those it was meant to warn, and invite an escalation by those firing. as such, the third section gives you the tools to hold this balance dear, while enjoying it all the same.
-----
an imbalance of these concepts will spell society's violent doom as the predators fight for their people and kill those that would dare oppose them, the monsters roam free and become far more dangerous with every kill for sport, and the protectors and the prey become fodder for an apocalypse to chew up and spit out.
